CO-TF1 opens their training center once a year to FEMA US&R handlers across the country. This unique opportunity allows Search & Rescue dogs the opportunity to be exposed to new rubble and for handlers to network and learn from each other.
2011 was the first year that they participants of this training participated in the AKC CAR Detection Dog DNA Bank study. We appreciate the handlers and their K9 partners for their contribution.
