There is a dog version of Facebook. Probably anyone who has taken a dog on a potty walk can figure out where I’m going with this – Facebush. It’s a funny notion, but also one which is pretty amazing when you stop and think about it, which is exactly what I was doing last weekend… I was taking Packer for a walk and thinking about how dogs leave messages for each other. Here at the WDC, we believe in using the latest scientific advancements to improve our program.

We believe the best way to accomplish this is to create an atmosphere that provides the access to current knowledge and tools and encourages our staff and volunteers to continue their own personal development.

This year we have introduced Wednesday’s Lunch & Learn, a weekly opportunity to come together as a group and explore the many facets of the working dog.
