Today the Penn Vet Working Dog Center received a generous donation from the Chesapeake Irish Terrier Club (CITC) to support the explosive detection dog training being done at the Center. In the wake of the Boston Bombing, like many other citizens, members of this club felt there was something they should do to help their country. This donation, and other donations earmarked for this work, will go towards supporting the daily training of our puppies. Puppies, like K9 Socks, whose training is being geared toward explosive detection dog programs with agencies including the Philadelphia Police Department.
We greatly appreciate you and your organizations contribution to support this donor driven canine detection program.
