Today we honor those who lost their lives on 9/11 and pay tribute to the brave men, women and dogs who responded to the terrible tragedy. Today is also the first anniversary of the opening of the Penn Vet Working Dog Center. The Center serves as a living tribute to the Search & Rescue dogs and their handlers who served at the World Trade Center, Pentagon & Staten Island Fresh Kills Landfill.

We remember.
