New Jersey Rescue & Recovery K9 Unit is very excited and honored to be able to host a working dog seminar presented by Bob Bailey and Parvene Farhoody. This is an advanced level seminar for experienced trainers providing detailed information about how to use teaching mechanisms to train behaviors to a higher standard of excellence.
Bob likes to say that anyone can get behavior from an animal eventually. But getting reliable, strong behavior, effectively and efficiently takes an understanding of behavioral technology. Bob and Parvene have decided to try something different: This seminar is specifically designed for a particular audience; trainers with experience at getting behavior but who truly want to be better. These are trainers ready to challenge what they already know and change their own behavior to get even better behavior from their dogs.
This seminar is filled with new content designed specifically for those whose dogs need to perform where and when they are called upon. The bottom line is, when pet dogs make mistakes, it’s not that costly. When any kind of performance dog makes a mistake, it can be very costly. This could be in the context of search & rescue, detection, agility, advanced obedience, hunting trials, police or assistance work of every kind. Great training is what is needed whenever a dog needs to perform consistently with an excellent standard of performance.
